The Dark Side of Wheat
Despite popular opinion wheat consumption may not be beneficial to health. These two published articles make a strong argument against perceiving wheat intolerance as simply a matter of allergy/genetic intolerance in a minority subset of the human population, but rather as a species-specific intolerance, applicable to all.

I find both of these wheat articles profitable in my ongoing self-education journey. I have been gluten-free, and mostly grain-free except for some brown rice, for several months now with no thought of return. I have, however, recently started using barley grass juice powder in my morning ‘greenie’. After reading here about WGA, then doing some unprofitable searching, I am uncertain if WGA is enough present in the grass juices to be a problem. Any light you can shed on this would be appreciated.
Thanks much for your work.
I find that sprouting organic kamut (an ancient Egyptian special wheat) and other wheats makes a huge difference.
I’m wondering if the gluten in sprouting (if there is any, i do think there is) is more non allergenic. It seems there was little to no wheat intolerance in the days when all wheat was organic and natural. These days, modern conventional wheat and bread has been transformed into a fake food, no doubt.
Wheat is simply a grass.
One would assume that wheat grass juice would be free of gluten. Of course it is higher in natural sugars.
My dog responded amazingly to a little wheat grass blended into her food. She was dying, now she’s better.
Oops! I should have read this article before I commented!
